Basic record lookup. Retrieve records at a local or regional repository. Some travel, mileage, and parking costs may apply.

Small project. Ideal for specific research needs. Usually projects last 5-10 hours.

Full project. Research issues with multiple angles and goals. Usually broken into steps with deliverables produced for each segment.

Publication

Data transfer. Taking your paper archives and putting them in a genealogy software program or online. Includes moving photos, documents and more.

Writing down the tree. Taking your paper or online family history data and creating a written genealogical narrative from it. Customized to your preferences.

Writing for an audience. Providing articles and content to your publication on the topics of genealogy, research strategies, archival issues and social media.

Consultation

Phone a genealogist. Provide research advice, recommendations and guidance via phone or email for your research project. Help is here when you need it.

Social media menu. Provide social media plans for genealogy businesses and/or maintain professional accounts.


Project Planning and Execution

The Everything Special. Custom projects that may include aspects of research, archives, digitization and preservation. Services include drafting plans for you, handling the entire project and anything in between. If you have a bunch of "stuff" and don't know where to start, then I can help.
